Privacy Policy
Your use of Nomadeezee involves sharing information with us so the service can work. This policy is written for users in Vietnam first, while also following common global privacy expectations for transparency, consent, security, and user choice.
Who controls your data
Nomadeezee operates nomadeezee.com and decides how personal data is collected and used for the platform. Privacy, deletion, correction, consent withdrawal, and moderation requests can be sent to privacy@nomadeezee.com.
This policy applies to account holders, visitors, contributors, people who message through the platform, and people whose public place content or profile information appears in Nomadeezee.
- Data controller / platform operator: Nomadeezee
- Privacy and legal contact: privacy@nomadeezee.com
- Service covered: Nomadeezee web app, community travel content, maps, messaging, trip boards, collections, and account services
Information we collect
Nomadeezee collects the information needed to create and protect accounts, run community features, support maps and discovery, process subscriptions, and improve the product.
Location data is collected only when a feature needs it, such as map browsing, nearby discovery, or pinning a place. We do not run continuous background location tracking unless a future feature explains that clearly and asks for consent first.
- Account details such as email, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, username, avatar, and profile information
- Content you create or share, including places, comments, messages, attachments, boards, collections, and place media
- Usage signals such as saved places, likes, visits, board activity, language choice, session activity, and safety logs
- Optional location data from device location, map clicks, selected addresses, uploaded media metadata, or place search results
- Payment and subscription status from Stripe; full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Nomadeezee
- Device, browser, cookie, and diagnostic data needed for security, authentication, preferences, debugging, and service reliability
Why we use your data
We use personal data to provide the service you asked for, keep accounts secure, personalize discovery features, process premium access, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the activity, we rely on your agreement with us, your consent, our need to keep the platform safe, and legal obligations that apply to online services.
- Create and manage your account, session, profile, and preferences
- Display and organize the content you choose to publish or share
- Support search, maps, recommendations, trip planning, direct messages, and saved collections
- Process subscriptions, premium entitlement status, refunds, fraud checks, and billing support through Stripe
- Protect Nomadeezee from spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and misuse of messaging or community tools
- Respond to privacy, consumer, support, moderation, law enforcement, or regulator requests when required
Consent, cookies, and tracking choices
Where consent is required, it must be voluntary, specific, informed, and capable of being recorded. You may refuse or withdraw consent for optional processing, although some features may stop working without the data they need.
Nomadeezee uses necessary cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security, language preference, and core service operation. Optional analytics, marketing cookies, or cross-site tracking will be introduced only with clear notice and consent controls.
- Device location access can be accepted or refused through your browser or device settings
- Marketing email, if introduced, will use opt-in consent and unsubscribe controls
- You may clear cookies through your browser and can contact us to ask about available privacy settings
- If Nomadeezee introduces optional analytics or advertising cookies, the product will provide a way to refuse them
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not use private messages for advertising targeting
Vietnam privacy rights and request timelines
Vietnam privacy law gives data subjects rights over their personal data, including rights to be informed, consent or refuse consent, withdraw consent, access or view data, correct data, request deletion or restriction where available, complain, report violations, and request protection measures.
We will handle valid privacy requests within legally required timelines. Where Vietnamese law applies, this includes responding to request procedures within two working days and completing valid deletion requests within the required period, subject to identity checks, security needs, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and records that must be retained.
- Ask what personal data Nomadeezee processes about you
- Request correction, deletion, anonymization, restriction, or account closure where available
- Withdraw consent for optional processing, including optional location, marketing, or tracking features
- Object to misuse of personal data or report a privacy or security concern
- Receive notice of eligible personal data protection incidents when required by law
Storage, security, processors, and cross-border transfers
Access to personal data is limited to the people, systems, and service providers that need it to operate Nomadeezee. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the product, security, legal obligations, dispute handling, backups, billing, abuse prevention, or platform safety.
Nomadeezee uses service providers for hosting, database, authentication, payments, email, maps, geocoding, storage, observability, and support. These providers may process data outside Vietnam. We use contracts, access controls, technical safeguards, and transfer reviews where required to protect Vietnamese users' personal data during cross-border processing.
- Current provider categories include Supabase, Vercel or hosting infrastructure, Stripe, Resend, PisoMap, GIS.vn/VN2000, and similar operational vendors
- Passwords are handled through secure authentication providers rather than stored in plain text
- Sensitive personal data, including precise location data where it identifies a person, receives additional care and is limited to necessary product purposes
- We review cross-border transfer obligations, processor responsibilities, deletion requirements, and incident cooperation when provider arrangements change
- If we detect a personal data protection violation that legally requires notification, we will notify the appropriate authority and affected users within required timelines, including 72 hours where that standard applies
Children and minors
Nomadeezee is not designed for children. Users under 16 should use Nomadeezee only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
If we learn that a child has created an account or shared personal data without appropriate permission, we may limit the account, remove content, request guardian confirmation, or delete the relevant data where required.
- Parents or guardians can contact us at the privacy email to request review, correction, or deletion
- We do not knowingly target children with behavioral advertising
- Public place content should not include private information about children or other people without permission
Terms of Service
Nomadeezee allows users to discover, save, share, discuss, and plan around places. These terms set the baseline for acceptable use, paid features, moderation, account responsibility, and consumer communications.
Using the service
By using Nomadeezee, you agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. You are responsible for the content you post, the accuracy of information you share, and activity that happens through your account.
- Keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
- Use the platform in line with applicable law and these terms
- Post only content you have the right to share
- Avoid impersonation, fraud, spam, harassment, abusive behavior, or misuse of maps, messages, and community tools
GIS.vn acknowledgement and map use
Thank you to GIS.vn for making Vietnam-focused mapping and GIS tools available to the community. Nomadeezee uses the VN2000 map experience through the shared vn2000.vn map embed linked from GIS.vn.
GIS.vn's public developer page describes map display and API services and directs developers to contact GIS.vn for additional support. That public guidance is not treated as a blanket license: Nomadeezee uses the service only within the permission and usage scope granted by GIS.vn and any applicable provider terms.
GIS.vn and its licensors retain ownership of their services, maps, data, branding, and other content. Unless GIS.vn expressly authorizes otherwise, do not copy, scrape, bulk-download, extract, resell, rehost, or redistribute GIS.vn services or map data from Nomadeezee. Uses outside the published guidance or direct permission must be approved by GIS.vn before they are used.
- Keep visible attribution to GIS.vn and link to its official site when showing the embedded service or references derived from it
- Treat map coordinates and geographic information as informational and independently verify important location details
- GIS.vn may change availability, content, API access, or usage requirements; Nomadeezee may limit or remove the integration if those permissions or requirements change
Community content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the content you create, but you grant Nomadeezee the permission needed to host, display, organize, translate, moderate, promote, and operate that content inside the service.
You must not upload content that infringes someone else's rights, reveals private information without permission, misleads travelers, or creates safety risks.
- Place listings, comments, messages, photos, videos, and attachments must be lawful and accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Public content may be visible to other users, search engines, previews, and shared links
- Private messages and non-public boards or collections are visible only to authorized users and operational systems needed to provide the service
- We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, law, safety rules, or the rights of others
Moderation, reports, and appeals
Nomadeezee may review reports, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts when needed to protect users, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these terms. Reported content may be reviewed manually or with automated safety tooling.
If your content or account is restricted and you think we made a mistake, contact privacy@nomadeezee.com with the account email, affected content, and the reason for your appeal. We will review appeals in a reasonable time and explain the outcome where practical and lawful.
- Users can report privacy, safety, copyright, harassment, illegal content, or moderation concerns through account communications or the privacy email
- We may act immediately where content appears illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or security-sensitive
- Repeated or serious violations may lead to feature limits, account suspension, account closure, or preservation of evidence for legal compliance
- Closing an account may not immediately erase records needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute handling, or legal compliance
Free and premium features, payments, and refunds
Nomadeezee offers free features and may offer premium features such as expanded access, collection tools, trip board limits, or other paid benefits shown in the product. The exact benefits, prices, billing period, and taxes are shown before checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription changes, renewals, cancellations, failed payments, and refund eligibility are handled through the checkout, account, or support flow and remain subject to applicable consumer law.
- You can continue using free features without buying premium access
- Premium access starts when Stripe confirms payment and Nomadeezee updates your account entitlement
- You are responsible for reviewing the price, renewal terms, currency, taxes, and cancellation terms before purchase
- You may request billing help or a refund review through the privacy/legal email or the support channel shown in your account communications
- If a premium feature is temporarily hidden or unavailable, Nomadeezee may adjust the product, offer account support, or apply remedies required by law
Consumer terms, governing law, and disputes
We aim to provide clear information about the service, price, payment method, service delivery, account termination, consumer information protection, and dispute resolution before you rely on or purchase a feature.
These terms are governed by Vietnamese law where the service relationship is connected to Vietnam, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location. If a required Vietnamese version and another language version conflict, the version more favorable to the consumer will apply where Vietnamese consumer law requires that result.
- Contact privacy@nomadeezee.com first so we can try to resolve privacy, account, billing, content, or consumer concerns directly
- If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, either party may use competent courts, regulators, consumer protection authorities, or other lawful dispute channels
- Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer, privacy, cybersecurity, or data protection law
- We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page and, when required, communicated through the product or account channels

Please include enough information for us to identify your account and understand the request. We may ask for additional verification before changing, disclosing, or deleting account data.
